  • This week I thought a lot about climate change:
    • Alliance for Climate Education in bringing a commitment to climate change into high schools.
      
    • Climate Culture attempts to use online gaming to inspire engagement with climate change.
    • Compete with people around the world to save energy and reduce global warming, Carbon Rally.
    • ClimateChallenge.org has some useful resources on their site, including a calendar you can subscribe to, organizing tools, and wiki based books.
    • The Sierra Student Coalition offers a week long training program for student organizers.
    • Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection
  • Alternative Finance: Uncrunch America helps private lenders match up with private borrowers, it’s called peer-to-peer lending. It scares me a bit because I don’t know how lenders evaluate risk, but the community at their site Lending Club is growing very quickly.
